Registration/Graduation
Use
the following Guidelines to help complete your program
of study:
- See
an academic advisor during your first semester after
being admitted to the ENT program. The advisor can
assist you in developing a recommended plan of study
for your major. The advisors know when required courses
are offered and can advise you on the prerequisite courses
that are needed for your program of study. This will
minimize your stay here at UCF. Do not count on substitutions
being available or acceptable.
- See
an advisor regarding transfer courses. It
is recommended that if you have transfer courses from
another institution that you see an advisor regarding
credit for these courses. The SASS audit will not
automatically give you credit.
- Remember
to bring your SASS audit when you see an advisor. Advisors
do not have your SASS audit on hand, you can get your
SASS audit on myUCF.
- You
are supposed to complete all community college coursework
prior to your last 30 hours at UCF. If
you intend to take any c
ourses
from a community college after admittance to UCF, a transient
student form will need to be signed by the department
and college. If you need to take a course as a transient
student in the last 30 hours, a waiver form will need
to be submitted along with the transient student form.
- Registration
for Admitted and Non-admitted students:
- Admitted
students - Use online registration through myUCF.
- If
you are experiencing registration problems, check for
the following errors:
- Requisites
not met - usually means that the registration software is not
recognizing transfer courses that you may have been
given credit for.
- Consent
of instructor - usually means that you entered the keycode for a distance
learning site. Check to see if you chose the keycode
for a section numbered 91, 92, 96, 98. If you are not
a distance student, then you have chosen the wrong section.
- Prior
to your last semester at UCF, an intent to graduate form
must be filed. You will need to pick up an intent to graduate package
from the College of Engineering and Computer Science Academic
Affairs office in room 107 in the Engineering I building.
The form and survey must be filled out and returned to
that office prior to your last semester. It is also recommended
that you see an academic advisor for a SASS audit check
to confirm that you will complete all the of the requirements
for graduation. This is your responsibility.
